There are two charity walks Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Want to help a good cause? Head to Largo Central Park or the Florida Botanical Gardens.

Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best local hot spots in West Pasco?
Beginning July 23, we're opening up the vote for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories, from who has the best happy hour in town to which zoo is the best in the Tampa Bay area. Voting will end August 17.

Sims Park sidewalk on the Pithlachascotee River to Orange Lake, stop, feed the ducks, stop in at the West Pasco Historical Society. All right there.

I voted for Starkey Park, but please watch out for suspicious cars & pick up trucks .. I try not to go there alone anymore.
