Deputy Took, Circulated Pictures of Naked Woman

Brian Pratt sent out photos of an unconscious woman that he shot with a cell phone camera.

A Pasco County detention deputy was arrested and placed on paid administrative leave after he took pictures of a naked woman and sent them to others, according to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies.

According to an arrest report, Brian Dale Pratt took pictures of a completely nude woman unconscious in a bed in her New Port Richey home Feb. 13. The images were taken with a cell phone camera and mailed out to her ex-husband and daughter, according to the report.

The victim told a detective that the pictures were taken without permission while she was passed out from drinking too much at a party.

Pratt, of Hudson, told a detective he took pictures of the woman naked and vomiting in the bathroom and then escorted her to bed with the help of her relatives. When asked whether he took photos of her after she was passed out, he answered: “I don’t remember if I did or didn’t.”

The handwriting on the envelopes that contained the images matched Pratt’s handwriting samples. The pictures were found on his phone.

Pratt, 51, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of voyeurism in the first degree.  He was released from jail on $150. Pasco Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Doll said Pratt works at the Land O' Lakes Jail and was placed on paid administrative leave.

I don't trust the police any more than I could pick one up with my "old lady" painful carpal tunnel hands and throw 'em into the Gulf of Mexico ....

I thought the cops were "supposed" to pass all kinds of background checks and psychological testing. ! ! ! !

Interesting that THIS cop is placed on PAID administrative leave while the cop that was suspected of "doctor shopping" was immediately fired and his chances destroyed of ever finding a decent job again.

I guess perversion isn't such a big deal to the police department.

As I'm sure there is more to this story that we aren't hearing, such as what was the underlying reason for him to feel the need to send the photos to the woman's husband, why place him on paid leave? Our government is screaming about huge budget cuts but yet we still pay wages when there is evidence he did it. Hmmm? Something doesn't add up. Even if its a messy love triangle, he did it against her will and knowledge. That's against the law. And he's supposed to keep our criminals in line? Had it been a school teacher they would have been fired on the spot. Take his wages and hire one of the thousands of law abiding citizens that is on unemployment and can't find a job.

How ironic that when a civilian does a crime against a police officer their punishment is twice as hard but when a police officer does a crime against a civilian they get half the penalty. Paid leave...seriously. No wonder I hate paying Pasco County taxes since they are so irresponsible with my money.
