239 'Harassing' Text Messages Land Man in Jail

Steven Horlacher was charged with aggravated stalking.

A New Port Richey area man sent his ex-girlfriend nearly 240 text messages over the course of several hours Tuesday, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

An arrest report says Steven Horlacher sent 239 text messages “harassing and threatening" his ex-girlfriend, who he used to live with, and her current boyfriend.

One reads ”Well im going to intentionally hurt you….I hope you *expletive* die tonight on ur birthday..”

Another message read: “ill do what I wanna do Ill be at your house later.” While another read “ill be over and hes never gonna be back when im done.”

On Tuesday night, he called his ex-girlfriend and threatened her and her boyfriend. He also carried out a threat by driving to a residence, according to the arrest report.

He was eventually arrested Wednesday at Bearcat Road and River Crossing Blvd. in New Port Richey.

Horlacher, of 8510 Gumtree Ave., New Port Richey, was charged with aggravated stalking. He also was arrested on a warrant and charged with violation of probation. He remained in jail Thursday in lieu of $55,000 bond.
