Holiday Man Accused of Stockpiling Bombs, Ninja Gear
Chad Sutton was charged with possession of an explosive device.
A man who kept “ninja gear” and alleged explosive devices in a residence in Holiday is now behind bars.
According to an arrest report from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Edward Day was looking through a dresser he shares with Chad Sutton, 39. He opened a drawer Sutton uses and saw several “ninja like” knives and ninja gear. He also saw what he thought were pipe bombs.
Day called deputies. They came and found four cylinders wrapped in black tape in the drawer. A green fuse stuck out of each cylinder. A deputy also found what looked like throwing knives, a holster and gloves with spikes embedded in the palms.
Day told deputies that he and Sutton had bought fireworks for New Year’s. He said Sutton “is obsessed with ninjas and has been collecting ninja gear for some time now.”
Day said Sutton “had to do something to prepare for the end of days and by collecting ninja gear and constructing bombs (Sutton) felt he would be able to protect the home. “
Sutton said he made two of the devices from M-80 fireworks and two from smoke poppers. A deputy asked if he intended to hurt anyone with the devices, and he said he did not. He said he wanted to make a better and louder explosive device.
He told deputies he made them for New Year’s. He was going to set them off, but he got to drunk and forgot about them.
Sutton, off 3300 Huntington Drive, Holiday, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of an explosive device. He remaned in the Land O' Lakes Jail Tuesday in lieu of $5,000 bail.

These kinds of people are the reasons we need gun control laws. If he had a problem with some neighbor, he could have gone off big time. We can't let people like him exist in our neighborhoods. They are a danger to us all.

katholeen, My head is that the frame of mind of this guy is about the same as a gun toter. I said that these kinds of people are the reason we need gun control laws. If a guy like this goes down to his local wal-mart he can purchase a gun & have it in a very short time. Then he would really be dangerous. The right says it's about mental illness. This guy seem mentaly ill. I want controls in place that people like him can't get a gun just because they have a clean background & the $ to buy one.

Nothing is wrong with having a gun for protection. A neighbor like him is still no reason to have a weapon that shoots about ten bullets a second with the power to pierce a Rinocerous' hide. Some people have enough of these weapons to stock an armory & these same people talk of taking up these arms against the Goverment.
Go fiquire why the Goverment considers them sombody to watch?

See how your 'malitia' does against armored tanks with low level atomic artility shells & patriot missle smart bombs. Then again, they may go light on you with just napalm & agent orange. Like any weapons you can ever get & arm yourselves with can stand up to the armd forces of the United States Government? The can even drop Anthrax canisters on you & deny that they did. Good luck with your 'Malitia' revolution. Lets see if you can do any damage before you are eliminated from the face of the earth by the government that you decidd to tell to bring it on. I'll give you some history on where that phrase origially came from. In the 60s Ken Kessy traveled the country & LSD was legal at the time. He had large Koolaid parties where massive groups of people drank mass quantities of Acid spiked koolaid. He wrote a book about it called The Electric Koolaid Acid Test.
Drinking the Koolaid came to be like asking someone if they were on drugs.

You call President Obama, King Hussain. It is obvious that you use his middle name in a vailed statment saying he isn't a true American. I know, he was born in Kenya, right?
Like even if he was born in another country it would matter? If he isn't American, then you people are saying that he was able to accomplish beating you, even though your best minds are trying to beat him. Further proof of his extrem competancy. If you are talking about King George of England, I can see why you whack jobs relate to the Founding Fathers. Like today's Tea Party, The founding Fathers were also a bunch of well to do white men that didn't want to pay their taxes. I see a coorelation there. They were outlaws illegally taking up arms against the legal order & you threaten an outlaw malitia that wants to take up arms against the established order. The first group of outlaws were on a par militarily with the established order. Today, you don't have a prayer of defeating the Government.
