Man Arrested for Ice Pick Stabbing
He pulled the weapon from his pocket when an argument turned physical.
A New Port Richey man is in custody after stabbing another man multiple times with an ice pick Tuesday, according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.
The two men were involved in an argument that turned physical, the affidavit stated.
Robert Scott Madden, 51, first punched the other man, then pulled the ice pick from his pocket and stabbed him with it multiple times, the affidavit stated.

The man was taken to Bayonet Point Hospital to be treated for a possible lung puncture, according to the report.
Madden was taken to North Bay Hospital for medical clearance "due to sustaining a possible broken nose during the altercation" before his transport to the Land O' Lakes jail, where he remains on $10,000 bond. He is charged with aggravated battery.
