Motorcyclist Dies In Early-Morning Crash

The accident occurred on Photonics Drive, east of Trinity Oaks Boulevard.

A 25-year-old Tarpon Springs man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Trinity this morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man, whose name is not being released at this time, was traveling west on Photonics Drive about 7:27 this morning when his Yamaha motorcycle struck a 2006 Infiniti M45 driven by Jacqueline Bradley, 36, of Odessa.

A highway patrol news release said Bradley’s vehicle was stopped southbound on an access driveway. The Infiniti moved forward and stopped. In the process, the vehicle partially blocked the westbound lane of Photonics drive. The motorcyclist tried to avoid the collision, the release said. The driver of the motorcycle lost control, overturned and struck the left side of the Infiniti.

The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash, the release said.

The accident remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with information related to the crash is asked to contact Cpl. Mike Styers at 352-797-5737, Ext. 110.
