Pregnant Woman Arrested for Assault with Spaghetti

Pasco deputies say she injured her boyfriend.

A 20-year-old pregnant woman from New Port Richey remained behind bars today after a verbal argument with her unborn baby’s father turned violent Tuesday.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, Allison Jennifer Kurasz of 8909 Osceola Drive got into a verbal spat with the father of her baby around 3 p.m. yesterday. During the fight, Kurasz is said to have picked up a bowl of spaghetti and struck the man in the back of the head.

It is unclear whether Kurasz and the victim are married.
