Suspects Sought in Moon Lake Home Invasion

The incident took place early this morning.

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for information to help them identify multiple suspects in an early morning home invasion that took place in Moon Lake Estates.

According to a sheriff’s office media release, the incident began between 1 and 1:30 a.m. today, Aug. 24, when “as many as five suspects” entered a home on Oconee Boulevard through a back door. Once inside, the suspects got into an argument with one of the home’s occupants. A fight broke out between the suspects and a 44-year-old male victim. The man was stabbed on the right side of his abdomen, the release said.

During the alteration, a 26-year-old man at the home attempted to help the first victim. One of the suspects cut the man on his finger and punctured his abdomen.

The suspects then left the home in a gold or silver Dodge Durango. They were headed east on Oconee Boulevard toward Lake Drive, the release said.
