Woman Charged in Connection with Break-In, Attack

Rosemary Anazco, 21, has been charged with home invasion robbery and attempted murder.

A woman living in New Port Richey has been arrested and charged in connection to a home break-in and attack.

According to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies, Rosemary Anazco, 21, and two others entered a home on Fox Hollow Drive in Port Richey on Saturday without  permission. The three suspects forced their way through a front door and attacked a female.

During the attack, a male attempted to hide from the intruders. One of the people who broke in with Anazco attacked the male and stabbed him multiple times, deputies said. He suffered serious injuries to his chest and leg.

Anazco and one of the intruders searched the home and stole a cell phone, deputies said. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle registered to Anazco.

The male who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The female victim was taken to a hospital with a broken vertebrae.

Anazco, of 6939 Stork Court, New Port Richey, was arrested on Monday and booked into jail on Tuesday. The sheriff's office is not releasing information about the other two suspects in the case at this time, said sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Doll.

Anazco has been charged with home invasion robbery and attempted murder. She is being held in Land O' Lakes Jail without bail.
