Farewell to New Port Richey

Alex Tiegen's time as New Port Richey Patch editor is coming to an end.

It’s time to say “Goodbye.”

My time as editor of New Port Richey Patch ends Oct, 15. A company reorganization has resulted in my position being cut. After 6 p.m., I’ll no longer be employed by Patch.

Readers, however, can still upload, photos, videos, blog postings and event listings to the site and are encouraged to do so.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve as editor for nearly three years.

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into the West Pasco community and shown me what makes this area unique.

And a special note of gratitude to those who allowed me to tell their stories. They’ll stay with me for a long time.

I’m not sure what’s next for me, but you can find me on Facebook or by e-mailing me at ajtiegen@gmail.com.

Goodbye,

Alex Tiegen
