5 Things You Should Know Today, Dec. 7

Blarney kisses and unique holiday gifts for today.

1. , 6916 Perrine Ranch Road, New Port Richey, is accepting registrations for a new toddler class for children who have reached their first birthday and are walking. Registration is taking place all day.

2. VFW Post 4412 Honor Guard will hold a small memorial ceremony near the Veteran’s Memorial in front of the West Pasco Government Center in recognition of Pearl Harbor Day.  It will consist of a short prayer, a short speech and playing of “Taps” along with a rifle volley. The ceremony will begin about noon.

3. The is hosting a Holiday Handmade Gift Gallery through the season. Cyndie Smith and the Altered Minds/Wearable Art Group and many other artists have been working to create beautiful gifts for the holidays. There are gifts to wear, hang, play with and use for decorations.

The gallery at 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey, is open all day.

4. There is all Celtic Cuisine after 5 p.m. at , 7813 Mitchell Blvd., Suite 101, in New Port Richey. In addition there’s $3 Guinness Pints, $5 Irish Car Bombs and $3 Blarney Kiss Shots.
