Cold Front Delivers Great Weekend Weather

Rain chances are possible on Friday morning, but the rest of the weekend looks cool and clear.

The cold front that moved into the area on Thursday evening is moving out this morning, Nov. 4, leaving in its wake clear skies and cool temperatures, according to Richard Rude, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Ruskin office. While there’s a chance for rain this morning, the rest of the weekend is looking pretty dry, Rude said.

New Port Richey residents can look for highs in the upper 60s today with a low near 50. Saturday should bring clear and sunny skies with a high in the low 70s and a low in the 50s. Light winds are expected with gusts up to 25 mph throughout the weekend.

Expect things to warm up a bit on Sunday. The high should reach the upper 70s with a low near 50.
