Craig Carmichael Memorial Scheduled for Saturday

The well-known New Port Richey resident's body was found on a boat in the Gulf earlier this week.

A memorial service will be held in honor of well-known New Port Richey man Craig Carmichael Saturday, Sept. 21.

Carmichael, 48, was found dead on his boat in the Gulf of Mexico Sept. 16. Authorities have not yet released his cause of death.

The memorial service will be he held September 21 at 11 a.m. at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd, New Port Richey.

“Craig K. Carmichael, 48 of New Port Richey passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013.

Craig came to New Port Richey in 1975 from Venezuela. Craig was the second-generation owner of Suburban Feed & Pet Supplies, and Chairman of the Annual River Lights Boat Parade. Craig enjoyed hosting many of the local celebrations and events at his home in New Port Richey on the Cotee River.

Craig was well known for his generosity, quick wit and humor.

Memorial Service to be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 11:00 am at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd, New Port Richey.

Craig is survived by his wife Jean Carmichael, son Judd Duvall and Sister Kaycee Humenik. Craig was loved by many and will be missed by all.”
