Fundraiser for Kaiden Crowther Friday Night

Six-year-old Kaiden Crowther, the son of Palm Harbor University High's former pitching coach, John Crowther, is receiving lots of support from the community as he fights ATRT, a rare form of cancer.

A fundraiser in Trinity is set for tonight to help support Kaiden's Krew, who will be participating in the upcoming New York City Marathon to raise money for six year-old Kaiden Crowther, who was diagnosed with ATRT, a rare form of cancer.

Kaiden's mother, Dominique will be running in the upcoming NYC Marathon to raise money for her son's treatment. Kaiden's father is Palm Harbor University High's former pitching coach, John Crowther.

The young sports fan is receiving lots of support from the community as he fights this disease. PHUH's Hurricanes baseball team dedicated its 2011 season to Kaiden and he was given the honor of throwing the first pitch at the team's season home opener earlier this year.
