Juneteenth Freedom Celebration!

All are welcome to help celebrate the emancipation of slaves during the American Civil War! The African American Club of Pasco (AAC) will sponsor the event that includes plenty of good food, entertainment including karoake and the spoken word, fun for children, a health screening and voter registration. Our honored guest speaker is Evangeline Moore, the surviving daughter of Harry and Harriet Moore, Florida civil rights martyrs assassinated in their home by the KKK on Christmas night, 1951. The FBI ended its latest investigation in December 2011 without anyone being brought to justice for this crime.
