Howard W. Blake School of the Arts Announces Annual Showcase to Celebrate the Arts

The Howard W. Blake Friends of the Arts presents Tapestry 2012! –a celebration of the arts featuring the rising stars of Howard W. Blake High School of the Arts at the Don Thompson Theatre. The proceeds of this event will fund the artistic dreams of the students through scholarships and donations to the arts departments. 

This event offers the best of Tampa’s school for the fine arts by featuring a wide range of styles and moods in music, writing, film, dance, and theatre. Students, faculty members, and alumni will participate in the production, which includes several collaborative works and a few surprises. 

Ben Pila http://benpila.com/bio/ classical guitarist and Howard W. Blake alumnus will be the Spotlight performer. Coach James Dolby, alumnus of the original Howard W. Blake High School will be honored for his continued support and service through the baseball team.
