Five Things You Should Know Today

1.     2011 continues this week. Tonight, you can take in a bluegrass concert featuring Larry Gillis and His Swampgrass Band, Travis Chandler and Avery County  (Sims Park Amphitheater) from 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.

2.     Drive safely. The National Weather Service predicts a 60 percent chance of rain and the possibility thunderstorms today. Temperatures will reach highs in the mid-70s near the coast and the mid-80s inland.
