Five Things You Should Know Today, July 6

Stay aware of and involved with what's going on in our community and Pasco County with our suggestions.

1.     We face a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. today. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with a high near 90.

2.     An Alabama school that was struck by hurricanes in April is getting help from the Pasco School District in the form of.

3.   The debate on whether New Port Richey should charge event planners for the cost of their to the city continues. Want to participate?  The Special Events Advisory Committee is meeting with City Manager John Schneiger to discuss the matter at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Port Richey Public Library.

4.   Drive to Spring Hill and showcase your classic wheels at the Classic Customs Car Show.  The monthly show runs from 5 p.m.–8 p.m. and is located at 3437 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34606.
