Gloomy Halloween Monday to be Followed by Sunny Skies

Despite a potentially wet start, West Pasco is in for a fairly nice week, according to forecasters at the National Weather Service.

While a little rain may fall on Halloween, forecasters are saying New Port Ricey area residents can expect the workweek to develop into a pretty nice one on the weather front.

With no tropical disturbances in the forecast and days with highs in the low 80s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, John McMichael, a meteorologist at the weather service’s Ruskin office said West Pasco has a good week to look forward to.

McMichael anticipates today, Oct. 31, to be the only one of the workweek with a forecast for cloudy skies.

Tuesday is anticipated to bring lots of sunshine with highs in the mid-70s in coastal areas and low 80s inland. The rest of the workweek is shaping up for much of the same.

“It looks good,” McMichael said.
