Man Accused of Sexual Battery

James Morrison attacked a woman and forced her to perform a sex act on him, authorities say.

A New Port Richey man was accused over the weekend of committing sexual battery on a woman.

According to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies, James Morrison, 32, got into a dispute with the woman Wednesday, March 27.

He demanded during the dispute that she perform a sex act on him, according to the report. She refused.

She went to the bathroom to take a shower and Morrison came in and attempted to force her to have sex with him, the woman told a deputy. She refused, and he began punching her in the face, the report said.

He then forced her to perform a sex act on him, according to the report. She bit him. He beat her until she fell unconscious.

Morrison, of 4641 Grand Blvd., was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony battery, resisting arrest without violence and violating probation. While Morrison was in the Land O’ Lakes jail, deputies added the sexual battery charge. He remained in the jail Monday in lieu of $61,150 bail.

It drives me crazy that I am constantly reading about these awful things that are taking place so close to my home. This guy has a history of battery and drug violations. What is it about this area that draws unsavory people in like a magnet?
