One of the dead was James W.Huff, a veteran of the Seminole Indian and Civil wars who was awarded the Purple Heart and a recipient of the Medal of Honor.

The theme of the respectful service was simple, yet powerful  "REMEMBER the fallen, HONOR those who serve, TEACH our children the value of freedom."
