Weekend Weather Forecast is Looking Good

New Port Richey residents can expect clear, comfortable days ahead.

If you’re planning to get out and have some fun this weekend, the weather shouldn’t be an obstacle.

Forecasters from the National Weather Service’s Ruskin office are calling for comfortable temperatures and virtually no chance of rain.

“We have a cold front that’s moving through,” explained meteorologist Eric Oglesby.

Thanks to that front, the highs today, Nov. 18, should be around the mid-70s in both the inland and coastal areas. The lows will drop down into the mid-50s inland and the upper 50s near the coast.

On Saturday, mostly sunny skies are expected with a high around 80 near the coast and in the lower 80s inland. The lows should heat up a bit Saturday to come in around the lower 60s in both the coastal and inland areas.

Sunday's weather is expected to almost mirror Saturday.

Lows will remain in the 60s from until about Saturday until Wednesday, Oglesby said.
