Caladesi Cookbook: Recipes from a Florida Lifetime, 1895-1992 (University of Tampa Press), which was co-written by Terry Fortner with her sister, Suzanne Thorp. It is their account of the extraordinary culinary life of their grandmother, Myrtle Scharrer Betz.(Yesteryear, I Lived in Paradise). Terry and Suzanne are the granddaughters of Myrtle Scharrer Betz, who lived 40 years of her life on Caladesi and whose recipes reflect life and times on the island.
Proceeds from the cookbook benefit Caladesi Island State Park, with a portion donated to PEAG.
Fuel for the Fire, written by Elizabeth Phillips Goehringer
A sinister plot for world domination converges with a frantic search for a missing child, and all hell breaks loose....
FUEL FOR THE FIRE catapults from gangbangers to skin-heads, to the schemes of corrupt senators, bizarre murders and glimpses of the supernatural on a planet rapidly sinking into the web of a power-grabbing New World Order.
Beth is a Photographer Member of PEAG and active in our Poetry Nights and other happenings in the Gallery!
