Rupert's First Road Clean Up of 2013
Please meet at the Walgreen's at 7020 Massachsetts Ave, New Port Richey. Please be on time, as we have a safety briefing to give before we can start clean up efforts.
Friends of Rupert has adopted the 2-mile stretch of Rowan Road between Massachusetts Avenue and Trouble Creek Road in New Port Richey. We are responsible for conducting four clean up events each year.
Dress appropriately for this activity which will include stooping and/or kneeling to pick up debris from the ground. Sunscreen and/or a hat are recommended.
Bottled water, trash bags, gloves and safety signs are to be provided by the County. Free pizza and soda will be provided for those who participate.
Hop on over! We look forward to seeing you! Even if you are physically unable to collect the trash yourself, we can still use your help.
And remember - we are always happy to provide certificates for Community Service hours for those who volunteer.
