A great way to integrate math into art is by using a coordinate graph pattern so the students practice plotting points on a graph, connecting them like a dot-to-dot, and then coloring them. These patterns are available in an easy format with only Quadrant A, or more difficult using all four quadrants. Be sure to remind them to complete them in pencil first because there is always a lot of erasing! Here is a link to a page full of ideas:
