New Year!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi every one.No, I didn't fall off the planet. I had some surgery that took some serious recovery. I still view our brilliant city daily and wonder when? Positive winds of change are breezing in and patience is truly virtuous. My virtue has always been a little flawed. Yes the city is talking about the Hacienda. New landscaping has been put in place but I'm afraid we just can't seem to get the basics, you know a foundation. Our downtown is not pedestrian friendly for starters. We have an insane traffic flow so the potential is there. Perhaps with all the studies town orders we could get one on traffic and flow patterns. Perhaps some one way streets could direct flow better. At least enforcing the speed limit and pedestrian crossings would be a simple yet effective start. We live in a small, UNIQUE and beautiful city. I know we can connect and progress. The New Port Richey Library is a constant example of progress and success. Check out their Tuesday morning fresh market for example. I would love to hear and meet those of you who responded in the past. Until then smile, just because, ask someone if they've seen one of our beautiful parks or buildings or just tell someone town is coming around. It will. We'll get it there.
