Armed Bank Robbery Under investigation

A man walked into a bank and pointed a gun at a teller.

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a New Port Richey area bank.

Around 12:30 p.m. today, a male entered the Florida Central Credit Union, 2019 Little Road,  pointed a silver handgun at the teller and demanded money, according to a media release from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a media release.

Deputies believe he may be involved in other bank robberies around the Tampa Bay area.
