Arrest Made in Trinity Auto Burglaries

Travis Matthew Lisiewski stands accused of several burglaries.

An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to a rash of burglaries in the Trinity area.

Deputies arrested Travis Matthew Lisiewski on Saturday after a victim in the Thousand Oaks/Trinity Oaks subdivision reported seeing someone entering vehicles that night, according to the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

Lisiewski was found in a wooded area near the neighborhood.

“He admitted to breaking into hundreds of cars in the last few months and told our deputies he walked through Thousand Oaks three times this week entering about fifteen cars per night,” according to the Facebook page.

Lisiewski remained behind bars in the Land O' Lakes Jail on Monday in lieu of $35,150 bail.

Lisiewski of 6846 Collingswood Court has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Two counts of auto burglary
  • One count of petit theft
  • One count of burglary of occupied structure
  • Three counts of unarmed burglary of a structure or conveyance

The investigation is ongoing.
