Deputies: Alligator Trapper Bit Girlfriend

The move resulted in a domestic battery charge.

Joseph Myatt, a Holiday resident, had a verbal argument with his live-in girlfriend Friday.

In the midst of it, he bit her on her left cheek, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

After being arrested by Pasco deputies, Myatt told them he bites his girlfriend on the face “because that’s how they do it and they have ‘rough sex,’” according to an arrest report.

The arrest report lists Myatt's profession as "alligator trapper."  The Fish and Wildlife Commission says he is not on file with the state.

The argument, which took place in a truck, had something to do with Myatt's drinking, according to an incident report.

Myatt, 53, of 3540 Beacon Square Drive, was arrested Friday and charged with domestic battery. He also had a warrant out on him for a different offense and was charged with that offense on Saturday. He is currently in Land O' Lakes jail in lieu of $5,300 bail.

The gilfriend had a red mark on her face from the bite. She did not request medical attention.
