Authorities have identified the dead woman whose body was found in the woods at Cypress Trail Apartments in the New Port Richey area as Rebecca Brodeur, 61.
The body was found in the woods behind 7250/7260 Broadmoor Drive, according to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies. Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine cause of death.
Brodeur, a tenant, would visit the woods to feed raccoons, deputies say. She suffered from multiple health problems.
