Deputies: Man Defrauded $1,800 from employer

John Conlin defrauded his employer, deputies say.


A Trinity man was accused recently of defrauding his employer of $1,811.

John Conlin, 34, was employed by Bay to Bay Enterprises April 2 when he borrowed a company truck with business checks in it, according to an arrest report from the Pasco Country Sheriff’s Office.

Between April and May, Conlin took 11 checks from the truck. He deposited eight into his personal account.

Conlin, of 8401 Night Owl Court, was arrested  Aug. 28 and charged with scheme to defraud.  He was later released from the Land O’ Lakes jail after posting $5,000 bail.
