Deputies: Stalker Left Messages, Cooler Behind

Dean Paschall II was arrested Wednesday on a charge of aggravated stalking.

Dean Paschall II just wouldn’t leave a local woman alone, Pasco County Sheriff's deputies say.

He called her more than 20 times over a number of days and also left a black cooler with food and drink in it on her porch, officials said. He also left mulitiple voice messages to her.

Those actions resulted in deputies sending Paschall on a trip to the Land O' Lakes Jail Wednesday when he was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking.

The woman told deputies she received the first two calls from Paschall, her ex-boyfriend, on Oct. 5 just before midnight. She told deputies later she has an injunction against Paschall.

She told deputies she ignored the calls at first because she was in bed. He called again in the morning and she answered.

At an afternoon outing with her daughter that same day, she received several calls from Paschall. Seven were placed while she was at Adventure Island. They left Adventure Island and to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens.

Paschall continued calling while they were on the way and while they were at the park. The woman contacted a security guard, who got on the phone and told Paschall he was violating the injunction by attempting to contact her.

The woman told deputies Paschall continued to call her after she left the park. When she got to her home in Port Richey before dawn the next day, she found a black cooler on her front porch. It contained food and drinks, which she threw away.

She told deputies she also saw a note.

Paschall, 23, of Trinity was arrested Wednesday. He is currently in jail in lieu of $5,00 bail.
