Pasco County deputies arrested Santos June 8 after they say an argument at his Elfers home turned violent. Santos, an arrest report said, got into a fight with Jerome Leake, 22, of Port Richey at Santos’ 5145 Tilson Drive home around 12:22 p.m. Saturday.

Leake was shot from about 3 to 4 feet away with a 380 semi-automatic pistol, the report said. The bullet struck him in the head.
