Man Left Child Porn in Storage Unit

John Andrew Parcha was charged with multiple counts of possession of a photograph of sexual performance of a child.

A New Port Richey man stands accused of possessing child pornography.

A woman told Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies that she purchased the contents of a storage unit at North Trinity Self Storage in May.  While cleaning out the unit, she found legal documents with the name John Parcha on them.  She also found a CD that she discovered contained pictures of children involved in sexual conduct.

She contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and the detective learned that Parcha rented the unit from June 3, 2008 to May 14, 2012. The CD had images and videos  showing child performing sexual activity with adults.

Parcha told a detective that  he downloaded the images from the internet and saved them on the CD. He said he was addicted to child pornography.

Parcha, of 5431 Palm Drive, was arrested by deputies on Sunday and charged with five counts of possession of a photograph of sexual performance of a child.

He remained in jail Monday in lieo of $25,000 bail.
