Man Left Child Porn in Storage Unit

John Andrew Parcha was charged with multiple counts of possession of a photograph of sexual performance of a child.

A New Port Richey man stands accused of possessing child pornography.

A woman told Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies that she purchased the contents of a storage unit at North Trinity Self Storage in May.  While cleaning out the unit, she found legal documents with the name John Parcha on them.  She also found a CD that she discovered contained pictures of children involved in sexual conduct.

She contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and the detective learned that Parcha rented the unit from June 3, 2008 to May 14, 2012. The CD had images and videos  showing child performing sexual activity with adults.

Parcha told a detective that  he downloaded the images from the internet and saved them on the CD. He said he was addicted to child pornography.

Parcha, of 5431 Palm Drive, was arrested by deputies on Sunday and charged with five counts of possession of a photograph of sexual performance of a child.

He remained in jail Monday in lieo of $25,000 bail.

This is the first step to hurting another child. We need to protect our children. We need laws that prove we will go to any length to protect women and children, the most vulnerable in our society. He'll walk away with a slap on his hand. I wonder how the police do it day after day. Make solid arrests and watch these guys go right back out there and hurt more vulnerable people!

I realised that by virtue of being criminals, they are generally not smart, but this one is right there in the bottom. Who in the right mind would leave incriminating evidence about himself around? He basically just placed it in the storage, forgot about paying it, and he got caught for it. Of course, having pedophiles who are stupid is better than smart ones. It is good to see them locked up in jail, away from society.
