No one was injured in an early morning
crash involving a bus bound for Chasco Middle School.
That’s the word from the Florida Highway Patrol’s Sgt. Steve Gaskins following the 8:30 a.m. Aug. 27 accident on Regency Park Boulevard.
In an email to media, Gaskins said a 1996 Mercury driven by Trinity Lee Hancock, 36, of Spring Hill was heading southbound in the left turn lane at Ridge Road when her car rear-ended the bus carrying 44 students.
The bus, which was stopped at a solid red light, was driven by Paul Forrise, 53, of New Port Richey, Gaskins said.
Hancock received a ticket for careless driving.
