No Signs of Foul Play in Death at Cypress Trail Apartments

The woman was found in the woods at the complex.

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of an elderly woman found in the woods at Cypress Trail Apartments in the New Port Richey area.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Doug Tobin says there are no signs of foul play.

The body was found in woods behind 7250/7260 Broadmoor Drive.  The body will be brought to a medical examiner to determine cause of death.

Deputies have not released the woman’s identity.

Erwin Robedillo, a tenant, said he usually feels safe at the apartment complex, with some exceptions.

"Basically, I'm OK here," he said. "I feel safe here."
