Photos Released of Bank Robbery Suspect

The robbery took place just after 4 p.m. today in New Port Richey.

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that took place just at 4 p.m. today.

According to a sheriff’s office media release, a man walked into the BB&T Bank at 6213 State Route 54 in New Port Richey and threatened the teller verbally. The man then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s. He is an estimated 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs between 270 and 300 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a red, white and blue hat with "Budweiser" logo on it, a pair of sunglasses and a yellow vest. He also had on a long-sleeve T-shirt with a USF Bulls logo on it.

The sheriff’s office has deployed K9 and air units to help in the search.
