School Bus Flasher Remains Behind Bars

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies say he exposed himself to five children.

A 64-year-old New Port Richey man was arrested April 6 on five counts of lewd or lascivious exhibition after Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies say he exposed himself to Chasco Elementary School children riding a bus.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, the incident occurred on April 4 around 3:40 p.m., on the suspect’s 64th birthday. The man, deputies say, pulled down his pants as the bus drove by the corner of San Miguel Drive and Chantilly Lane in Port Richey. Five children between the ages 9 to 12 saw the man shake and wave his penis as the bus drove by, the affidavit said.

When a deputy interviewed the suspect about the incident, he admitted “pulling down his pants and exposing his penis to the children on the school bus and related he thought this would be funny,” the affidavit said.
