Should Florida residents be able to use deadly force if they believe their lives are in jeopardy?

That’s a question being asked in communities throughout the state as protesters converge on Tallahassee demanding that Gov. Rick Scott call a special legislative session to address the topic.

 Even though Zimmerman’s lawyers didn’t use Florida’s Stand Your Ground law to build their defense, protesters have said it’s time to take a closer look at the legislation that allows the use of deadly force when a person fears for life, according to TBO.com.
