Strip Club Deejay Arrested

A Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy discovered on Friday that a man who worked as a deejay at Foxy strip club at 4233 U.S. 19 in unincorporated New Port Richey had an Ohio warrant out on him. 

He also discovered the man, named Carney McAllister, was registered as a sex offender in Ohio but not in Florida, according to an incident report. His offense is listed in the Ohio Attorney General's registry as "unlawful sexual conduct with a minor."

McAllister, 30 and homeless, was arrested by the Pasco deputy May 10 and charged with being a fugitive from justice and for failure to register as a sexual predator.

The deputy met McAllister while the deputy was at Foxy in response to a call from a detective. The detective told him the sheriff's office was assisting the Florida Department of Financial Services as it shut down Foxy, according to the incident report.

“The Division of Workers’ Compensation Bureau of Compliance issued a stop work order on Friday (for Sin-Na-Bar, Inc.) for failure to provide business records to verify the business had proof of coverage,” said Anna Alexopolous, spokeswoman for the Department of Financial Services. 

Sin-Na-Bar shares its principal address of 4233 U.S. 19, New Port Richey, with Foxy.  The registered agent for Sin-Na-Bar is Victor Caudill, according to the Florida Division of Corporations website.

Caudill identified himself as the owner of Foxy to the deputy. He told a deputy he did not hire McAllister, his manager did. 

McAllister wasn’t the only one arrested that night at the club. Tina Marie Hazellief, a dancer, was also arrested. She had a warrant out on her from Hillsborough County and another warrant on her out of New York. She was charged with being a fugitive from justice and violating probation.

Sin-Na-Bar had not submitted documents needed to restart business as of Monday, Alexopoulos said.

McAllister was being held without bond in the Land O' Lakes Jail as of May 13.
