Teen Attacked Pregnant Sister, Deputies Say

The teen was charged with various domestic battery offenses.

A 15-year-old attacked her pregnant sister over the weekend in New Port Richey, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. 

The 15-year-old, whose name is being withheld by Patch, pushed her sister, who is 33 weeks pregnant, into a wall of their apartment on Tonga Lane on Oct. 5, according to an arrest report. The pregnant sister’s head hit the wall.

The 15-year-old’s other sister was trying to get her away from the pregnant sister when the 15-year-old kicked her and the pregnant girl in the stomach. She also punched and scratched the pregnant girl in the face.

Then the 15-year-old’s mother arrived home. The 15-year-old yelled at her and spit in her face.  The mother tried to restrain her and in the ensuing struggle, the 15-year-old swung her arms and struck the mother in the chin.

When deputies questioned the 15-year-old, she told them the pregnant sister had gotten in her face. A deputy noted the 15-year-old had a black eye.

The 15-year-old was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated battery against a pregnant person, domestic battery, simple battery and two counts of simple battery.
