Teens Fled From Cops in Stolen Golf Cart

New Port Richey Police say the boys were spotted inside the stolen cart.

The theft of a golf cart from a local course has landed two area teens in hot water with the New Port Richey Police Department.

The 17-year-old and 15-year-old boys were spotted in a blue golf cart on Donegal Street July 29. That cart had been reported stolen from Magnolia Valley Golf Club, according to an arrest report from the New Port Richey Police Department.

The golf cart was used to flee from police, according to the report. Then the two teenage boys fled into the 17-year-old’s home.

A New Port Richey police Officer arrested the two teens, whose names Patch is withholding. Each boy was charged with grand theft auto and burglary of a business.
