Blog Spotlight: Get Involved in Upcoming Municipal Elections

The elections will take place April 9 for the cities of New Port Richey, St. Leo and Zephyrhills.

Historically, municipal elections have attracted a low voter turnout.

However, Brian Corley, supervisor of elections for Pasco County, is hoping things will be different this year.

In his Corley discusses the importance of the city elections, noting that local elected officials can have far more impact on residents' daily lives than the decisions of national lawmakers.
