City Elections: Rose Mohr on Hacienda and Redevelopment

We asked each candidate for New Port Richey City Council what they thought should be done with city-owned properties.

Patch recently asked candidates running for New Port Richey City Council: "What is your vision for the future of the Hacienda Hotel? What are your ideas for use or redevelopment of other vacant properties the city owns, like the First Baptist Church Site and Post Office?"

We got answers.

Regarding the Hacienda: A multi-use and cultural center. with a cafe atmosphere.  i.e. Art gallery, museum, silent film museum with movies, artist wortk space.   The other properties should be sold off at fair market value and have properties on tax rolls instead of an ongoing loss and drain  on the city.
