  • Animal Services – This agency is closed on Friday, but its adoption center and intake/reclaim shelter open for business from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
  • Pasco County Public Transportation – The buses won’t run on Friday, but they’ll be back on the road on Saturday.

The buses won't run? Don't have problem with other offices listed being closed, but public transportation! What about people getting to work, medical care or many other reasons somebody without a car may need to use a bus on Friday? Let's get real! Is this not funded by taxes and people who want and need to use it? Why not run an abbreviated holiday schedule? Not being a bus rider, does this mean there is no bus service on the other State and Federal holidays?
