Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. (And a Happy Hanukkah, etc to any of you who don't celebrate Christmas.)
There are still a few shopping days left before Christmas and feel free to drop by the store if you can't think of anything for that certain someone. If we don't have it, I'll send you over to see Michelle, Jim, Charlie, or one of the other great folks downtown who I am confident can help you out.
Seriously, we tend to get a little wrapped up (pun intended) with all the shopping and everything at this time of year and the most important thing is to spend time with family and friends. That time spent is priceless and worth far more than any trinket you could buy.

If nothing else, go for a ride around town and enjoy all the lights. I do good to get a Christmas tree lit, so our house isn't going to be on any list of best lit houses. All I can say is that some of the other folks in town have WAY too much time on their hands when it comes time to decorate the outside of their houses.
While Santa I am not, I have some specific Christmas wishes and thank you's for certain folks:

For Michelle, Joe, David, and the rest of the restaurant owners downtown, I hope you have a great holiday season and an even better 2012.
For Charlie and the whole crew at the Richey Theatre, Break A Leg and let's see some even better plays and film events this coming year. 2011 was great.
For Joe, Dan, Kristin, and the rest of the Chamber folks, I hope this coming year's Chasco is the most successful ever. (And I bet you thought I was going to suggest lumps of coal...)
For Walt and the other downtown landlords, here is hoping we can get those empty storefronts filled up this coming year as the economy continues to improve.
For my colleagues on city council, thanks for helping the city get through a difficult year and a special thanks for not leaving me hanging on the wrong end of too many 4 to 1 votes.
For the city staff, thank you for everything you've done this past year. I wish I could promise you an easier 2012, but we'll do our best to muddle through.
For Greg and all the volunteers at the Coteeman Tri, thanks. It couldn't have happened without you.
Thank you to all of you who have helped make our community a little better this year.
And last, but certainly not least, a special thank you to Carolyn for making sure I don't get too full of myself.
As always, feel free to drop me a note or give me a call if you have any questions about your computer or the Internet.
