New Port Richey High School Graduation Facts

Graduation day is almost here for high school seniors throughout the New Port Richey area.

To help you keep up with what’s what, here’s a look at graduation information for each of our area’s four schools:

Gulf High School

This school anticipates about 255 students will receive diplomas during a Friday, May 31 ceremony at 6 p.m. The festivities take place at the Epicenter, 6825 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey.

Its top seniors are:

  • Courtney Flor, valedictorian
  • Nicholas Buliga, salutatorian
  • Brittney Gervasi and Christina Engler, IB valedictorians
  • Zeba Alvi, IB salutatorian
  • Lizzie Wolf, class president

A total of $923,700 in scholarships has been earned by Gulf students as of May 13.

Mitchell High School

An estimated 390 seniors will receive diplomas during a 5 p.m. June 1 ceremony at the USF SunDome.

Top seniors are:

  • Paige DePaget, valedictorian
  • Samantha Page, salutatorian
  • Trey Drury, class president
  • Carissa Carmack, student body president

Scholarship information was not available.

Ridgewood High School

This school expects about 260 graduates at its May 31 graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gym.

Its top students are:

  • Mary Kay Kujak, valedictorian
  • Shamina Stagner, salutatorian
  • John Chiarella, class president

Information on Ridgewood’s scholarship earnings was not available.

River Ridge High School

About 340 seniors are expected to receive diplomas during a May 31 graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. in the school’s gym.

Top seniors are:

  • Michelle Vanderhoof, valedictorian
  • Shannon McAmis, salutatorian
  • Derek Kugel, class president

Information on River Ridge’s scholarship earnings was not available.
