The nine-day Chasco Fiesta offers a variety of family fun and entertainment -- including nightly concerts, a traditional Native American festival, a boat parade, and a street parade -- along the banks of the Pithlachascotee River.
Today's parade is said to be the oldest boat parade in Florida. It starts in Millers Bayou along the Pithlachascotee River and finishes at Sims Park.
Boaters will compete for a $2,500 prize and must follow the theme Great Inventions. Boaters must register by March 23.
See the attached .PDF for an entry form. Mail or turn in the registration form to the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce office, 5443 Main St.
