New Port Richey Special Olympian Participates in Baseball Camp

Athletes experienced a day in the life of a Boston Red Sox baseball player.

New Port Richey resident Charles Crose recently took part in the CVS Caremark All Kids Can Baseball Camp that took place as part of Boston Red Sox Spring Training in Fort Myers.

The camp featured more than 20 Special Olympics Florida.

Through the baseball camp, SOFL athletes experienced a day in the life of a Boston Red Sox player.

The camp was a joint endeavor between two national, New England-based organizations – Rhode Island-headquartered CVS Caremark and the neighboring Boston Red Sox – demonstrating a shared commitment to individuals of all abilities.
