Gulf Harbors Yacht Club is a local establishment that has been around since the 1960s. After receiving its first charter in April of 1965, one month later the yacht club registered with Lloyd's registry and subsequently commissioned on June 19 of that year.

Although a private club is a comfortable place for seamen to congregate and meet other fellow boaters. Through the years the club has served not only as a clubhouse but also as a beautiful place to have a wedding. The Gulf Harbors Yacht Club lends itself nicely to most events, with a beautiful banquet room holding up to 125 guests. There is also a lounge and a gallery open for cocktails and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, as well as year-round golfing, nine months of bowling and more.
